El Modena athletes regularly qualify for CIF-SS Championships, bringing home individual titles and advancing to the CIF State meet. Our program has produced champions in swimming and diving, with performances that continue to raise the bar for future Vanguards sending 13 swimmers to CIF.

 

Record-Breakers & Standouts

 

Our school records reflect generations of talent and hard work, from relay squads to individual standouts. Among them, Grace Wharton (Class of 2024) stands as one of the most decorated athletes in program history:

Multi-event CIF-SS Division 3 Champion in the 200 IM, 100 Back, and 500 Free

Advanced multiple times to the CIF State Championships

Now competing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Backstroke and IM

 

Past highlights also include podium finishes from divers like Matt and Amanda Casillas, CIF finals appearances from swimmers such as Patrick Lambert, and All-League honors across both boys and girls programs.
